Time to start working a new crochet scarf. My original idea was to use a block stitch but as soon as I started working on the scarf, I knew it was a little bit too boring of a stitch for what I was after. After fooling around with a few ideas I came up with this much more interesting cross-over block stitch pattern.

The cross-over block stitch has a lovely texture and look to it and could be used for blankets, washcloths, bags, hats and more.
